Our machines are equipped with an Intelligent Hydraulic Protection System. When the sensors detect an unbreakable object like iron, the movable roller automatically retracts to let it pass safely. The system then resets the roller to its original position without manual intervention or machine shutdown.
Q2: Why is the tooth design better for sticky materials?
Traditional flat rollers rely only on extrusion, which can lead to material “pasting” on the surface. Our serrated teeth utilize shearing and splitting forces. This unique geometry naturally self-cleans as the rollers rotate, preventing buildup and bridging even with high-mud content or wet coal.
Q3: How often do the toothed rolls need replacement?
APEX tooth rolls are cast from high-chromium manganese steel alloy, lasting 3 to 5 times longer than standard rollers. Additionally, we use a modular tooth design; if one section wears out, it can be replaced individually without replacing the entire roller, minimizing maintenance costs.
